Moldability
Due to the full fiber encapsulation and the thorough blending of fibers, our compounds mold easily in any existing equipment without any risk of damage, and typically without any changes to your existing molds or processing equipment. However, our compounds are often blended with additional neat polymer to achieve a custom product.
The improved compatibility of the cellulose fibers and the polymer matrix allows the product to be de-molded at higher temperatures without risk of shrinkage. The result is a reduced cycle time that can increase a molder's throughput up to 30%.
